Mr Gallagher

The first time I met Stef was when I started working at Whickham Thorns looking after the farm animals, and he made life working there so much fun, you knew when Stef was on shift there would be laughs aplenty and proper side splitting laughter at that, even better if he brought the lovely Sammy along. Its been a long time since I’ve seen Stef but there are so many things I remember that still make me smile, one being him trying to be cocky and trying to outrun and catch a long legged goat called Aggie and failing miserably, I can still see Stef and the goats face as they locked eyes midrace with Stef running like an Olympic sprinter and Aggie doing no more than a quick trot. I was also lucky enough to be invited/sneak on the Northumbria University’s Climbing Club weekends away, which were the best adventures and I’ll always be thankful to Stef for inviting me. Stef was somebody you could have the biggest laugh with but also heartfelt conversations with, the best company. He was warm, kind, funny and a talented artist, and to leave such a big impact on everyone he met says a lot about Stef as a person, he’ll always be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
